At an early age Tis Mal Crow began his formal training in an unbroken line of First Nations knowledge of herbs and their traditional uses. In a mission to save plants and indigenous knowledge about them, and to preserve their rapidly diminishing environment, Tis Mal Crow worked internationally with government agencies and non-profit organizations. This recorded lecture was produced to inform people of the importance of these plants, our relationship to them and also to show that plants exist for their own sake, not strictly for our use. This lecture is an invitation and the means to participate in a relationship with plants who need us certaintly less than we need them.
